8:00 PM - 11:00 PMBeth David SynagogueKick off the 5780 High Holy Days with a S'lichot Service! Life can sometimes feel like a comedy of errors. Things often do not go the way we intend and so much of the world is beyond our control. Yet Yom Kippur comes each year to remind us that we are responsible for our lives and we do make a difference in the lives of our family, friends, community and ultimately the world. This Slichot come celebrate one of the final Havdalahs of the Jewish year and then watch the movie “Defending Your Life” which has a humorous and meaningful take on this Jewish endeavor. After which we will observe Slichot, including hearing some of the melodies of the High Holidays for the first.
