mindfulness workshop
september 6, 13, 20, 7:30 pm
The Beth David Mindfulness Workshop will teach how to intentionally use body, heart, and mind to leave tension, anxiety, and negative emotions behind. The course will explore how science informs and improves mindfulness practices.

Rabbi Joshua Ben-Gideon first studied the power of mindfulness with Rabbi Alan Lew, z”l, more than fifteen years ago. Since then he has sought ways to incorporate the wisdom of mindfulness practice into his own spiritual practice and to share that with his family and his congregation. Previously, he helped co-found an annual spirituality institute. He has been fortunate to study with a number of experts in the field, including his two partners in this program.

Reverend Greg Ferrand is an Episcopal priest and the Executive Director of Second Breath, a center that brings a fresh lens of mindfulness to progressive Christianity. Greg’s favorite things about Second Breath include the integration of spiritual tradition and science, the connection between our inward journeys and our outward impact.

Andra West LeBauer is the co-owner of LeBauer Physical Therapy and an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness Meditation Instructor. In her practice she weaves all of these rich modalities together through her deeply held value that mindfulness and intention are the way to reclaim peace, space, and to remember again how to thrive in the present moment.
