Israeli Scouts

Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15th         
6 - 8 pm hot dog cook out
8 - 9 pm show time

Every year 50 teenagers are chosen out of 60,000 Tzofim (Israel Scouts) throughout Israel for the Tzofim Summer Delegation. The selected 16 and 17-year-olds have proven leadership experience, a broad knowledge of Israeli and Jewish history, a high level of scouting achievement, fluency in English and strong communication skills. Most of all, they have a love for their country and their people and a desire to share that love with their brothers and sisters in America.  They will become Delegates - counselors or youth leaders in Jewish summer camps across North America, bringing the joy of Israeli Culture to North American Jewry.

Everyone is invited to join us and experience these wonderful young people as they entertain us. The Scouts are sponsored by The Beth David Men’s Club, which is planning a hot dog cook out this year. They will sell hot dogs and drinks for a small charge. The show will start at approximately 8pm and last for about 1 hour.
