Annual Jewish Community Events
Every years, several Greensboro-area Jewish organizations sponsor and hold community-wide events. These include:
- Mitzvah Day - for the entire Jewish community - individuals & families
- Yom HaShoah Memorial - for the entire Jewish community
- Melton School of Learning - a joint event of Beth David and Temple Emanuel
- Special speakers visit Greensboro each year and the Jewish community is often invited; be sure you are receiving Beth David email (sign up below) so you are aware of these events.

Greensboro Jewish Federation
The Greensboro Jewish Federation builds community among the Jewish people of Greensboro, assuring continuity from generation to generation. Recognizing that each Jew is responsible, one for another, the Federation promotes the welfare of the Jewish people in our community, in Israel and worldwide. Visit Greensboro Jewish Federation.
B'nai Shalom Day School
B'nai Shalom is a co-educational Jewish day school affiliated with the national Jewish Community Day School Network and the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools. B'nai Shalom serves students from a variety of Jewish backgrounds from infancy through eighth grade. Visit B'nai Shalom.
American Hebrew Academy
The American Hebrew Academy is America's Only Jewish Pluralistic College Prep Boarding School. It is a community of students, teachers, coaches, administrators, parents, and friends. Visit the American Hebrew Academy.
BJH Foundation
The purpose of the BJH Foundation for Senior Services is to enhance the lives of Jewish seniors residing in North and South Carolina by distributing grants to organizations providing activities, services and programs for the elderly in accordance with Jewish values and beliefs. Temple Emanuel
Temple Emanuel is a congregation of approximately 550 families, and a member of the Union for Reform Judaism. Visit Temple Emanuel.
