Rabbi Silverstein teaches Talmud and Midrash at the Conservative Yeshiva located at the Fuchsberg Center in Jerusalem, the heart of the Conservative Movement in Israel.

Hebrew & Psalms with Yudit Natkin
Six week class beginning March 1, 2012!
Combine your interest in learning Hebrew with the beauty of Psalms in this class taught by a master teacher of both.
Each week the class will study a selection of Psalms, focusing on key Hebrew words and uncovering meaning in the poetry of the Bible.
A basic knowledge of Hebrew letters is recommended.
Register on the first night of class. Tuition is $50.
The class is open to all, including members of the
greater Greensboro community.
Florence Melton Adult Mini-School
Classes move to Temple Emanuel beginning Wednesday, February 8.

The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School is an internationally acclaimed program that enables Jewish learners of all backgrounds to explore their heritage and culture in a challenging and inspiring course of study. It's two-year curriculum covers "Purposes of Jewish Living," "Rhythms of Jewish Living," "Dramas of Jewish Living," and "Ethics of Jewish Living." Classes are taught by Rabbi Havivi and Rabbi Guttman, with an emphasis on student participation and discussion.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings through late May. Beginning Wednesday, February 8, classes move from Beth David to Temple Emanuel.

92nd Street Y Live Simulcasts
Join us for these stimulating simulcasts from New York's 92nd Street Y. Simulcasts begin at 8:00 pm, and are preceded by desserts and coffee at 7:30 pm in the social hall. These programs are generously underwritten by Sylvia and Norman Samet, and are free to members of Beth David and Temple Emanuel; there is a $5/person charge for all others.
